In preparation for the summer, Hog Roast Bordesley has been hired to cater for a local music festival hosting a line-up of indie and folk artists. The festival first began 5 years ago and is expanding each year, as well as hiring a wider range of stalls and more well-known musicians. This year, there are set to be a variety of catering options for guests to choose from, including a menu from Hog Roast Bordesley. We discussed our catering options with the festival director and it was decided that a classic hog roast would be ideal, as this menu is bound to draw guests to our stall. This menu smells delicious while it cooks which is perfect for attracting hungry customers!
In preparation for this event, the Hog Roast Bordesley team is planning on arriving at the festival in the morning, allowing us plenty of time to slow-roast the hog to perfection. The hog will require around five hours of slow-roasting to cook evenly and ensure that the meat is packed full of natural juices and flavours. Once ready, the pork will be expertly carved by our chef and served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. For the side dishes, we will also be providing homemade chips and a green leaf salad to create a varied and delicious buffet meal. Our menu will be on offer throughout the day to allow as many guests to enjoy as menu as possible!
