In our eyes here at Hog Roast West Bromwich, there can be no better way to show someone just how much you love them than by organising a Hog Roast West Bromwich meal to celebrate. That’s just what Helen planned this week to surprise her husband for their twenty-fifth wedding anniversary.

Helen told us when she made the booking that over the years it had always been her husband, Frank, who had gone all out and impressed her on their anniversaries with big romantic gestures but this year she really wanted to surprise him by organising for Hog Roast West Bromwich to come and cater at their home. She had invited round several of their nearest and dearest and had planned for us to be there when Frank got home from work.

On the day itself, we arrived at Helen’s home mid-afternoon to get set up for the evening meal. We would be cooking our traditional whole roasted hog and serving it up into freshly baked rolls alongside some crispy crackling, homemade apple sauce and lots of sage and onion stuffing to tie it altogether. Helen had also asked us to provide a drinks reception to really wow Frank and to add to the surprise.
