For a taste sensation, you can’t go wrong with a Hog Roast Bournbrook hog roast, slow-cooked at your venue on the day of your special occasion for hours on end, until we get moist, tender meat and salty, crispy crackling. Our signature food is perfect as either piles of pigs in buns (also known as hog roast rolls) or as part of a plated meal, full of meat and crackling, seasonal veg and potatoes and delicious trimmings including apple sauce, stuffing and gravy. A hog roast centrepiece will certainly wow your guests and we’re sure that you’ll be surprised at the cost, as a pig goes a long way to feed lots of people.
Nevertheless, Hog Roast Bournbrook can also cater with plenty of other dishes if need be, as we’re all about giving our customers and their guests choice and variety. You may prefer spit-roast turkeys or chickens or a hunk of lamb or beef to sizzle away for an age, or perhaps you’d like a barbecue of sausages, burgers and ribs to satisfy everyone’s appetites. For something that little bit different, we also have speciality standalone menus, like our Southern Slow Roast and Loaded Fries, and both are highly popular with our customers.
Alternatives for special diets are always on offer too, as we want everyone you invite to be able to enjoy our food, so if you’re hosting any vegans, vegetarians or anyone with an allergy or intolerance, let us know when you book and we’ll let you know what we can do to cater. Plus if you’re planning a menu of several courses, fear not, as Hog Roast Bournbrook has all kinds of options, including handmade canapés, starters, sides and desserts, so we really do have something for everyone.
For a party that we catered over the weekend, we were asked to make pigs in buns but also several sides, including spicy sweet potato wedges and homemade mac and cheese and coleslaw, with all three being suitable for the vegetarians as their main too. After cooking up a storm over several hours, it was finally time to serve up some amazing food that made all the guests’ mouths water.
