It was a beautiful crisp and frosty February day for Lisa and  Greg’s big event- it was the day baby Jake was being christened with 100 guests attending the event. It was being held at a local venue that is popular for all occasions including weddings and birthday parties in Elmdon. The venue is a beautiful setting for guests to take memorable photos both inside and out. There is also a large landscaped garden for outdoor entertaining. Lisa and Greg chose the large room to hold their event which leads out to the garden which enabled all the guests access to the hog being cooked outside. Hog Roast Elmdon were the chosen caterers to put on a wonderful spread to celebrate the occasion. This was the second event that we at Hog Roast Elmdon had catered for Lisa and Greg. The first being their wedding two years previous which was a great success.

Private Party menu option 1 was chosen for the guests which is only one option from a choice of many that Hog Roast Elmdon offer. This consisted of a very tasty slow roasted pig with apple sauce and crispy crackling served with soft floured rolls. A large crispy salad  was also served on the side. Hog Roast Elmdon used their Hogmaster machine which has a glass viewing screen which meant that guests were able to watch the pig as it cooked. With the winter sun low in the sky, lovely background music and the wonderful fresh smells that winter brings guests were enjoying the atmosphere. Slowly cooking and giving off a wonderful aroma the guests were eagerly awaiting to enjoy the taste of the hog roast. Seeing the pig being cooked always goes down well with guests. At Hog Roast Elmdon we are always happy to be able to give the guests the experience they want. Our pleasant and helpful catering staff served mouth watering food to very happy guests on the bamboo crockery that Lisa and Greg chose. This went beautifully with the decorations of white and silver with touches of blue for the table centrepieces. There had been an amazing atmosphere all day. Everybody enjoyed the experience, the food and a lovely time was had by all.
