We often serve our Hog Roast Greet signature food and spit-roasted meats as either plated meals, together with seasonal vegetables and potatoes or fresh salads and coleslaw, or inside floury rolls and wraps, depending on your preference. Our spit roast options include chicken, turkey, beef and lamb, which all come with suitable trimmings (as do our hog roasts of course), so with our signature food you’ll see crackling and homemade sage and onion stuffing and apple sauce, while with chicken that’s chipolata sausages and stuffing, with beef you’ll get Yorkshire puddings and a red wine gravy, and with lamb, we serve mint sauce and Yorkshires.
In terms of additional possibilities, we could, for example, cater with several canapés, such as mini battered fish and chips, chicken liver parfait, roasted duck, mini quiches and handmade sausages, a starter like homemade soup and crusty rolls or smoked salmon from Scotland, a main or two with sides such as above or ones including mac and cheese or sweet potato fries, and then there’s our homemade desserts like profiteroles, cheesecake, fruit salad or sticky toffee pudding. We have plenty more options available within our menus too, so you can simply choose your favourites, though if you prefer, we do have our own selection of standalone menus, including our Southern Slow Roast, Loaded Fries, Traditional Barbecue and Alfresco, and any one of these will wow your guests.
