Most companies like to do their bit for charity, but some companies are more imaginative than others when it comes to choosing what type of fundraising event to organise. The company who contacted us to do the catering for their latest charitable event had certainly put a lot of thought into it and they decided to organise an office fancy dress party so all of their staff could have fun whilst doing something for a good cause!

Hog Roast Walsall’s corporate catering services are becoming increasingly popular for both informal office parties and more formal corporate entertaining thanks to our wide choice of menus and our flexibility when it comes to location. The company who hired us for their charity fancy dress ball chose us for these very reasons and they loved the wide choice of imaginative dishes on offer. They opted for one of our buffet menus because they wanted everyone to relax, have fun and not be confined to staying in their seat all evening. With some of the crazy costumes on display, sitting down wasn’t really an option for some of their employees anyway!

Luckily even those with the most cumbersome and elaborate costumes still managed to tuck into Hog Roast Walsall’s tempting buffet, which included our trademark slow-roasted pork, cous cous, classic Caesar salad, creamy coleslaw and buttery new potatoes, along with some tasty vegetarian and vegan alternatives. Even though we are meat specialists, we always try to be as considerate as possible when catering for different diets because we want everyone to love our food, not just pork fans, and we always go the extra mile to accommodate individual requirements.

It was great to see everyone tucking in, regardless of their dietary needs and personal tastes, and both the food and the fancy dress ball was a massive hit with all the employees. The event was a huge success and raised a lot of money for the company’s chosen cause and the event organisers couldn’t thank the Hog Roast Walsall team enough for the splendid spread we provided!
