Oh! It’s the Most Wonderful Time Of The Year, With Hog Roast Summerfield

This Christmas, or any time of the year, why not let Hog Roast Summerfield take the reins by providing delicious homemade food made from fresh ingredients, and local where possible. This includes the top-quality meat that we always source from farmers and butchers that we trust, whether it’s the pork that we use to create spectacular hog roast centrepieces or different kinds to spit-roast and barbecue, like turkey, lamb, beef, chicken, burgers and sausages.

Hog Roast SummerfieldWhile a good old traditional hog roast is clearly our signature dish, as you can see, we also have lots of other options for carnivores, in case you want alternatives served. However, we also offer alternatives to cater for special diets, like vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free, so when you book our services, just let us know your needs and we’ll work together with you in order to satisfy everyone’s taste buds on the day.

Hog Roast Summerfield also has speciality menus on offer, such as our Southern Slow Roast, where you select three marinated types of meat and four sides of your choice, or our Loaded Fries, which we top with brisket of beef or pulled pork as well as cheese and your choice of slaw. We make sure to have something for everyone, and that also includes additional dishes, like starters, sides and desserts, as well as handmade canapés and a drinks service if needed. Whether you’re having a formal or casual party, with just a handful of guests or several hundred, and regardless of the location, we’ve got you covered.

When a wedding planner approached Hog Roast Summerfield a while back, it was to see what we could provide in terms of a multi-course menu for a small, intimate, informal wedding. They were surprised by our wealth of options and went back to the couple to discuss their perfect menu.

Fast forward to the day of the wedding, which was on Saturday, and we cooked up a storm with several canapés, salmon and soup starters, a hog roast centrepiece which we made into pigs in buns and, finally, desserts of chocolate torte and sticky toffee pudding. The entire feast was devoured in no time at all.
